Ian Barber is an American pianist based in Paris, recognized for his work as a soloist, chamber musician and educator.
A student of André Watts at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, he has also worked with distinguished musicians including Menahem Pressler, Alfred Brendel and Jean-Yves Thibaudet.
Throughout his career, Ian has performed across Europe, Asia and North America, appearing in major concert halls and international festivals. As a former member of the award-winning Trio Zadig, he collaborated with leading artists and institutions while maintaining an active concert schedule.
Alongside his performing career, Ian is passionate about teaching, helping students develop their musical and technical potential.
